Earlier this week, the Government’s Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) launched its fourth round of funding for digital planning improvements in the UK. DLUHC’s vision to transform the Planning Sector over the next ten years, looks to promise improvements in planning software and planning data which will no doubt help speed up decision making, ensure more efficiency, increase transparency, and increase land supply.
The Government invites digital planning companies and Local Planning Authorities (LPAs) to work in partnership, to develop planning software, and improve planning data. Planning Genie welcomes this government commitment to Digital Planning Transformation.
